David Crane david (at) defensereview (dot) com September 2, 2019 A Polish company called Helikon-Tex is making some pretty kickass urban tactical clothing, and DefenseReview got to see some of it earlier this year at SHOT Show 2019. It's called the Helikon-Tex Urban Line, and iDR really dug it when we viewed the products at the company's booth. DR got to see shirts, pants, belts and a ballistic/armored pack (backpack). Everything we saw looked like to was well-designed, and well-made, using quality materials. We'll start witht he pants. Helikon offers a bunch, including UTP (Urban Tactical Pants) Jeans, UTP Denim Mid, UTP Flex (with 4-way-stretch fabric), UTP Canvas, and UTP Polycotton Ripstop. These are essentially urban tactical cargo pants designed for consealed carry (CCW), casual wear, and range wear for actual tactical shooting.
