The Nusantara brand was inspired by Steve Mustukas’ travels to Thailand and over 35 countries, many of them in Asia which have inspired his exotic and unusual patterns and designs for his bohemian focused fashion brand. During his travels, Stevie has been on a mission to find unique, one-of-a-kind products to bring to the American market. Nusantara aims to bring the beauty of the East to the Western market while supporting the native artisans who have inspired their collection of clothing. Nusantara’s extensive clothing range is all handcrafted and focused on fair trade, using original techniques such as wood-block printing and silk screen printing to create the beautiful patterns that are synonymous with the brand. The fashion range is imported from Eastern countries such as India, Thailand and Indonesia, making the products in the Nusantara range a true piece of
